HIGH DESERT TV (VICTOR VALLEY TV) is an Independent Television Content Provider. Currently Victor Valley TV's local market serves the cities and communities of Victorville, Barstow, Hesperia, Apple Valley, Adelanto, Oro Grande, Helendale, Phelan, Oak Hills, Pinion Hills, and portions of Lake Arrowhead, Big Bear City, Lake Gregory, Crestline, Lucerne Valley, Lenwood, Newberry Springs, Cajon Summit, Palmdale, Lancaster, Llano, Pearblossom and surrounding county areas. With the utilization of ROKU & AmazonFIRE-TV, Victor Valley TV can reach any internet based streaming TV viewer anyplace in the world. Victor Valley TV airs a variety of programming including retro-comedy, documentary, informational, educational, movies, reality shows, locally produced news briefs and local interest programs, coverage of local events, emergency and non-emergency announcements.

 

 Population:

The total population in the Victor Valley is estimated at 470,000 as of Q-1, 2023 with an additional estimated16,000 in the UN-incorporated county areas. There are 3 Cable TV providers with an overlapping coverage footprint area of approximately 30.9% of the total coverage area with a subscriber count of about 41,000 in the most densely populated areas. Satellite TV subscribers are reported at near 37,000, making a total of about 79,000 subscriber based TV customers leaving the remainder of households and businesses to use other options to view Television.

 Streaming:

Victor Valley TV's primary viewing audience is through Roku and Amazon Fire TV internet based streaming television platform with a combined viewership potential of up to 60 million viewer households respectively. At the time of this writing Victor Valley TV has a viewer count exceeding 40,000 viewers across all digital platforms according to the analytics available through our distribution networks.

 

 Broadcast TV:

According to direct response advertisement results, email feedback, social media, public sources as well as multiple local surveys, it is estimated that over the air broadcast TV coverage is utilized by more than 44% of the total population in the coverage areas.  Total "over the air" channel count is constantly changing as more systems are converting from analog to digital services, thus adding multiple channels every step of the way. At the time of this writing there are approximately 52 OTA (over the air) channels providing a variety of programming to suite most age groups. It is estimated that an additional 39 channels will be in operation within the next few years, making broadcast TV a smart alternative to paid cable or satellite TV.
